DON’T FORGET!! This coming weekend University Baptist Church begins it’s new Sunday schedule: Three worship services will be held ON SUNDAY (only):
- 9:30 a.m.,
- 11 a.m. and
- 6 p.m.
For now, and until further notice, there will no longer be Saturday services as UBC builds its new worship center!
Grab your family or friends and start the fall season celebrating God’s love and life with them!
THEY ARE BEGINNING a new six-week series called The GENESIS Family Circus – Taming the Chaos. Whose family couldn’t benefit from a little Help from on high? If you were Adam & Eve; Noah, Mrs&Sons; Abraham & Sarah; Isaac & Rebekah; Jacob & wives (?!); or Joseph you’d be happy for some help! From these famous Bible families and their dysfunctions we’ll juggle our way through the spectacle of dreams & disappointment, happiness, heartache & hard times that spice up the human Family Circus.
Titles & topics include: “And Now, In the Center Ring”, “The Elephant in the Room”, “Walking the Family Tightrope”, “The Amazing Disappearing Man”, “Facing the Savage Beast”, and “Send in the Clowns”. Lots of good stuff there.
And speaking of families…
IT’S BLAST OFF time for FamJamz – their fun and family-friendly virtue-driven happy place “where kids and parents learn together”. If you’re the parent of a K-5 grade child you HAVEto find your way to one of these experiences this Sunday! The FamJamz celebration will follow each of the Sunday morning worship services, the first begins at 10:45 a.m. and the second at 12:15 p.m. For more information click on www.famjamz.com.
IF YOU DON’T have kids or kids at home then Sunday night at 6 is for you! Young adults especially are making plans to gather for “The 6” because right after the service the FuseCafe makes its debut. The pastor, Bill White, says “Be there or be square…” (I can’t believe he actually said that…lol)
Can’t wait to see you Sunday. “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord’” (Psalm 122:1).
